Outdoor Research Intuition Jacket - Waterproof Shell (For Women)

I absolutly love this jacket. It has a very very light fleece liner just to keep the sweat/moisture off of you. It really is just a shell but has strucutre to it. It is not the standard lightweight wrinklely, krinkely stuff. It is a heavy fabric that is definetely going to hold up, but not too heavy to be bulky. I wear it everyday to work in Seattle, and on the weekends in the 7,000 foot mountains. It does it all. The pomergrant color is gorgeous. It has great pockets everywhere, pit zips, snow guard, and huge hood (that fits even with my hair in a ponytail). The hood and snow guard can be unzipped and taken off. This jacket really feels like a $250 jacket. As far as fit goes, for my statue anyway.... at 5'4" the length is a bit longer than standard rain shells coming to mid hip, which I love. I am usually a Medium jacket no matter the brand, but in Outdoor Research I have found with my figure of 36,27,36, the hips are too tight in a medium, and the shoulders are perfect but no way a jacket is fitting under it. With the large, the hips fit and the shoulders have a bit more room but with a heavy weight fleece underneath its perfect with fit and movement. The sleeves with the large are a little bit long but that does not bother me. Hands down, the best jacket I ever owned. Buy it.
