Cinched the cord for the wind, and it stayed put. Really comfortable and did a good job keeping the sun off my face an neck. All this and totally cute.

The good thing is it has a drawstring inside for custom fitting! If you are looking for a winter hat no--but for summer or early fall it's a good choice and quite cute on. Hides those bad hair days.
