Fun hat - I got the red and already have received compliments. Hate carrying an umbrella (forget them all the time) and this is a great substitute.

Finally a hat I can wear for either sun or rain protection, and with a wide brim that can snap up so I can turn it 90 degrees and still wear it in the car. The toggle makes the hat fit snugly and there is a chin strap for windy days or boating. This hat has everything I've been looking for.

I bought this hat to use when walking my dog in the rain. The best part about this hat, other than it being waterproof, is that you can adjust the fit with a drawstring. I have a smallish head and have a hard time finding hats that fit just right. Having the ability to fine-tune the fit is great! The hat looks good, has a nice wide brim to keep the rain and drips off your face, it is lightweight, and I thought it was breathable, but my dog walk is only 2.5 miles. I suppose your head might get hot on a longer excursion. But for casual use, it works great.

This hat retails for [$] in most stores, so i saved a ton. Every O.R. product i have ever bought is still in use and are very durable, gore-tex products. I figure you get what you pay for so its worth the extra $ so i wont have to replace the thing after a couple of years of use.

Works well in both rain and sun... very lightweight and comfortable without being too hot. Well worth the money

If your looking for a water-proof hat that is comfortable and adjustable this is your hat. If you want a highly breathable lightweight hat you may want to look elsewhere.

I was seeking a lightweight weatherproof/sun hat for travel and hiking. I valued the reviews I read online about the famous Seattle Sombrero's problem of wind causing the brim to catch up on the velcro. Sounded very annoying to me. So I gave this one with snaps a try instead. Really like it! I wore it in 85 degrees with a lot of walking last weekend and it made a great lightweight sun hat. Did sweat a little in it, but that's par for that kind of heat. Love the outside adjustment for size as I have long, thick hair and was able to pile it up in the hat, then adjust the size easily. (The Sombrero adjustment is on the inside.) I'm pretty sure it will get 5 stars once I wear it in the rain and confirm that it is waterproof. The wide brim will provide great protection for glasses in the rain and keep my neck dry, too. Important, too, that it has a stable brim, yet packs easily.
