The one thing I wasn't sure about with this jacket is that the body part felt a little bit boxy like some of the other reviews had mentioned. But, after considering that it would be nice to be able to have it fit over a sweater or something, I decided not to fret about that, and I've been enjoying it a lot. Everything I've owned from OR has been top notch, so I expect this piece to be quite awesome as I use it down the road. One thing that would have been great is if it came with a little stuff sack.

This jacket is absolutely amazing. You can stack clothing under it for warms or just wear it alone. I was hesitant because it is not very thick but it is warm. This winter I bought a second one since I wore the other one none-stop last year.

I have seen other primaloft jackets that are thicker and better quality, this one seems very thin and flimsy.

Wish this general jacket style came in longer version, parka-length, with a slight flare to accomodate some tummy and hips--We are not all svelte and slender. Am still looking for similar, longer-length highly packable light-weight insulating layer.

I got this coat to be more of a camping, hiking type jacket. I had read the reviews that it was boxy, and they were right. It will be fine, and warm, and water repellent, just not stylish cute.

The torso fit is great and the jacket is extremely lightweight (9.25 oz for size SM). Sleeves are a little long, but good for pulling over my hands. Can't discuss the warmth of it yet - it's still 70 degrees here - but it fits well over a light sweater.

Bought this to be a pack-friendly layer for an upcoming trip. Great green color and very light weight. It's a nice fabric and very warm. Great alternative to fleece and packs very small - especially in a vacuum bag. Think it will be nice on its own in fall and under a shell in winter.

Oh, this is a great jacket. I just love primaloft. This jacket is so light and warm, I can't wait to wear it this fall. My only note is about sizing. I am about a size 8 and 5'-5", and I take a medium in a lot of jackets to allow for layering. I am really on the fence on this one! I bought the medium first, then the small in another color to try on, and I think I might keep both. The small is very cute and feminine looking, and it will get worn in the city over lighter shirts as the weather turns chilly. But its sleeve length is shorter, and it wouldn't have room for heavier layers underneath without the doughboy effect. The medium has space for layering and a more generous sleeve length for vigorous motion and hiking, but the cut doesn't look quite as flattering as that of the smaller size. Anyway, fit is a slight issue, and it may run a little larger than you expect, but it's an AWESOME jacket.

Great as a layer, or alone on those chilly spring/fall mornings. Lighter, warmer, and more comfortable than fleece. Fully wind proof. Layer this under a shell and you can go anywhere, anytime. Sleeves are a little short. Light, packs small, will be perfect for backpacking and peak bagging.

This jacket is amazing! It is very light so can be easily packed into nothing and doesn't weigh you down. It provides protection for drizzly and cold (but not feezing) weather.
