“I got these to replace a pair of Grandoe Shift 2 in 1's that got stolen. I couldn't justify buying 2 pairs of these wonderful but pricey gloves in the same season. These seemed like a pretty good replacement, but they aren't really warm enough on exceptionally cold days on the chair. They are fine probably 75% to 80% of the time though. I am a ski instructor for little kids and spend a lot of time picking them up or their skis, so grip is important. They are a little small and either need broken in or they are just a tad small for me to make a tight fist. [...] I actually have pretty small hands. Order a size up. They are wearable though. I haven't experienced them on a rainy day yet so I can't vouch for waterproofness. On a normal winter day with moderate contact with snow (throwing a few snowballs at children) they hold up well and dry pretty fast when they get slightly wet. The subtle feminine detailing is pretty and nice. I couldn't tell from the picture and was afraid it would be tacky, but they are attractive. I do like that they are more form fitting than bulky. I can slip my pole loops over them much easier than other gloves I've tried. They aren't bad gloves at all...it's just hard to compare them with the $125 Grandoes. I miss those guys :( Oh, and they should put the nose wipe on the index finger, not the thumb. Or maybe that's just me.”
