Easy sides zips all the way up the legs on both sides. Lots of elastic - really too much in my opinion. Great deal. Runs a bit large I thought (large most places, but smaller in the waist due to the elastic feeling a bit tight). I wear a size 8 and ordered a Small.

I just got these and tried them on. I wear a size 4. The small is WAY to small, even if you wore nothing underneath. And who does that with a pant like this? WAY WAY to short. I am 5' 7" tall and weight 130 pounds. These should be billed as short/petite not regular inseam. I noticed that one of the reviewers was 3" shorter then me and she also said they were short?????? In any case, they seem well made but cant help me if they are to small. Perhaps a batch of petite got miss labeled? I realize that sizes vary but this is beyond reason. The rest of my order was fine. I do recent having to pay to ship something back when I ordered my true size...........................

I'm a 69 year old grandmother who has always been a lover of the outdoors. I love the full-length side zips (for ease of layering over shorts or pants) as well as the pewter color. The pants fit perfectly with one exception. I always choose to wear low rise pants, but when I put these on while keeping the waistline below my natural waist, the elastic waistband is a tad to tight. A way to get around this problem, I found, is not to zip the sides up fully. Since I love the pants in all other respects and because they were an excellent value, I'm planning on keeping them.

Well made pants. I tried two times to get ones that fit. I'm 5'4" 105lbs. I got xs first, a little snug and too short. Sent them back for a small, one legs is about 1.5" shorter than the other. When they are on the short side to begin with, that just doesn't work.

I ordered these to use when biking to work in the rain or snow. They are sturdy and probably very waterproof, but I am returning them as they are quite stiff and noisy, figured I wouldn't like that when biking. I also was hoping the zipper would unzip completely.

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
