Look no further than these. I wear these for 4 season multi-day hikes ranging from lowland to alpine. worn on top and folded down at the back I also wear them in the city to look RAD ;)
They are great because they don't sweat too much, and don't pill like the wooly-ish thinsulate material.
Perhaps the best feature of these is that on cooler nights on the trail I draw it up over my face so it covers down to the base of my nose. It blocks all the light, muffles noise and keeps my face & head toasty & warm all night

Quality of material is nice - I got the purple and the color is great... The fit is a little odd - tight to pull on over your head, but then sits a little lose on your neck. But for the price, I will keep it and use it for moderate weather ski days. Would probably need something warmer for cold ski days.

Ordered it for winter hiking in the Northeast but had to return for being a bit too snuggle: messes up hair while you put it on and doesn't allow for enough air circulation during hikes - as neck is usually the first place that starts sweating. Good length though! I wish Columbia made the same length of their fleece neck gaiter, which so far has been my #1 choice.

This ran a bit loose. I had bought for my husband who owns a Turtle Fur one, he likes Turtle Fur much more. This one is sort of silky feeling on the outside while a light fleece on the inside and it gaps a bit. The Turtle Fur is snugger, with give and is fleece on both sides.....
