Outdoor Research Salida Jacket (For Women)

This is a very nice casual jacket. The only detraction is that is seems a little large in the actual arm hole, yet narrows quickly as the sleeve tapers to the wrist. Just seems like there's more fabric in the arm hole than there should be.

The arms on this are slim, but I have slim arms, so it works for me. I have worn Outdoor Research gear for about three years now and am OBSESSED! The lifetime guarantee is wonderful (I used to own the Salida hoodie, and the zipper broke--they replaced it for free!). Since I already knew the brand and the durability of their products, I picked up TWO of these jackets (in different colors). I use them for my every day jacket. Great for running errands, going biking, taking a walk, just a durable coat. The zip outer pockets are perfect for if you are running around, things don't fall out. EXCELLENT jacket

Like this a lot but hips were a little snug (sz 16) and the sleeves were 6" too long on a 5"4 woman. Really tired of the child-wearing-mom's clothes look.

Too small and will return.

I love this jacket, it is very warm even when wet. My only complaint would be that the sleeves are pretty tight so it's a little hard layering up underneath.

nice little jacket. feminine and fitted. can be worn under winter jacket in cold weather or over t-shirt in chilly weather. sleeves are very fitting near wrists. The liner on the pomegranate jacket is bright pink...

Nice for casual wear in colder weather. This jacket is fully lined with gray colored + black fleece and is warmer than I expected it would be. I like the heather brown color and the quality of the wool blend outer material. Nice pockets. Is a bit short for my long torso, but sleeve length is just right.

This jacket is very cute, however I agree with the other reviewer who said the arms are way too tight. I am a small person, but the sleeves were so tight in the wrist/forearm area that I could barely get them over my hands. Forget wearing a long-sleeved shirt under this jacket. I'm sadly returning it to get something that actually fits properly.

Warm, but not stifling in warmer weather. Good for summer nights. Wool dries fairly quickly in rain and doesn't get too cold, which is a plus for where I live. I can see why one reviewer found the forearms too tight-the jacket itself is snug in places, but I think it varies by person as I have not had a problem with this.
