    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought these gloves to replace my old not-so-warm gloves. While I loved how waterproof these gloves were, the good grip, the nice material, and the cuff that fits over your arms, they weren't warm enough. After about an hour outside in 12 degree weather, my hands were in serious pain. I had to go back in the car and put my hands near the heater for about ten minutes to warm them up again. Maybe they would be better in warmer weather, but I was pretty disappointed.
