I read that a glove or mitt is waterproof and I scoff. I hiked using these mitts last week during wet snow and then torrential rain. My hands stayed dry despite putting my hands on rocks and snow as I was climbing (up and down). These gloves have a waterproof liner than is supposed to keep the inside dry. after climbing I was hiking through thick woods and in what I would call very wet conditions. The outside of the mott did not look like it was getting very wet. After about 4-5 hours of use in these conditions the inside of the glove leaked water onto my hands at the ends of the fingers, where it looks like there is a seam on the inside. I could get my hands dry by curling them up in the lower part of the mitt and the leak was very minor, but occurred in both mitts. So: waterproof...no!, but it did take an effort to get the insides wet. Overall decent mitts and better than I expected for the price.

Seem like a good product so far. Would be nice if they came with mitten or glove inserts.

These aren't as think as I would like them, but I had planned to purchase more to layer up. So they have the room for that. They are nice and big as far as coming back up over my jacket. I haven't worn them out in the cold yet, but I've had many OR products and I'm assuming that they'll do the job...

I needed an overmit for my winter motorcycle gloves to break the cold wind. I ride in 20 degree weather and the wind chill really kicks the temp down at 60 mph. Waterproof, windproof, and toasy fingertips is what I was looking for and these overmits work perfectly. A bit bulky for signal controls, but with two pairs of gloves on they actually have pretty good dexterity. Love them.
