Outdoor Research Sojourn Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

This is a nice well made jacket with some good features to it, such as full lenght side zips, mesh liner inside. It is more of a cool weather shell and is not micro weight, the material looks to be very durable. I ordered it a size up to wear over a light weight Primaloft jacket and the overall fit around the body was good, sleeves just a bit long. The big problem for me was the hood, wich is huge, way to big even trying to cinch it up over the primaloft jacket hood. Plus it has a very large collar that I feel is to big. If the hood is folded up into the collar, then the collar is very stiff and bulky. Lastly the cinch pulls on the side of hood, there is no way to tuck them away after cinching up the hood, so they hang out in big loops. Disappointed to have to return it, but I would never be happy with that hood. Good jacket if you use a helmut.

Great all round rain jacket, made with Pertex, waterproof and breathable. My go to jacket for hikes and outdoor adventures.
