Light weight and thin, doesn't get sweaty and hot inside, very pretty, stains come out easily. I love it! The only shortcoming is lack of a detachable chin strap which would have been nice. There are 2 side loops for this. I bought a shoe lace and took a useless cord stop from a coat.

just as pictured. lightweight, wide enough brim to provide needed shade. looking forward to wearing it gardening and hiking. no chin strap, so probably not the hat for out on the water, but certainly worth it. we have had good experiences with Outdoor Research hats.

Stays on well, except in wind - could use a chin strap (loops provided, but no strap). The pony tail hole in the back was a nice surprise. Doesn't seem to wrinkle. If there was a chin strap and the pony tail hole was stretchy, it would be a full 5-stars from me.

Folds up easy and doesn't take up much space in purse or backpack. My only complaint is the hole for the ponytail is a little small, and I have very fine hair. I think someone with thicker hair might have a hard time with it.
