    This is a great lightweight softshell for running errands, hiking, and backpacking. I wore it over a thin hiking t-shirt for a 13-miler yesterday and it kept me warm even with fierce winds off the ocean and two hours of night hiking on the way out. It seems truly high quality, with sealed zippers and an attractive cut -- just what I expect from Outdoor Research. It is truly lightweight, though, and it would probably be only marginally warm enough for something like spring skiing. However, it's perfect for hiking/backpacking in reasonably temperate climates.

    Thought this wasn't stretchy enough for a soft shell and the sizing is definitely off. I ordered the medium because the sizing was supposed to be 10-12 and it was too snug to be comfortable. (I'm 5'4 and normally wear an 8-10 top)

    This is a wonderful jacket of high quality construction and materials. The medium fits me (5'6", 125 lbs, average everything) beautifully and is form flattering. The color is gorgeous and vibrant. It is not for a downpour, and will require an underlayer for cold weather. In northern CA, I'll use it a lot.
