Outdoor Research Specter Fleece Jacket (For Women)

I love this jacket - got it in Blue Jay; the picture seems to be pretty accurate. It is soft, warm, slightly wind resistant. I wear it constantly because I'm always cold. I'm thinking about buying a second one. I got this in the spring, but plan on using it as a mid-layer for skiing this winter.

I bought lava color before and came back for blue. Actually the blue color pretty much like the picture showed and just a bit not that bright.

I bought lava one two months ago and love it. Then want to get the second but not sure the what exactly bluejay color is until today. Somebody said it more like bright royal blue on review, but I feel it more like the picture shows here and just not that clear.

I returned this because it was too lightweight and tight-fitting for the jacket I was looking for. It might be fine as an underlayer, but not a jacket.

I love this jacket! Got it in blue, it is a great color. Warm, very soft, and will probably make a great mid-layer for skiing this winter. Good length, great fit. Very happy with this jacket. The only thing that would make this jacket better is if it was windproof (although it is slightly wind resistant.)

This jacket is nice for the price - I wore it with a sweater underneath to do some yard work in about 35 degree weather, kept me toasty. If you are long-waisted this will probably not fit well, as I have a short waist and it just covers. Also, I ordered a small but the proportions in the shoulder seem to be off, as the shoulder seam falls about an inch down my arm, almost like a men's small in the shoulders. But, with something underneath it evens out. The color (Lava) is great.

I thought this looked great coming out of the package. Nice fabric (power stretch fleece is my fav)and nice looking cut. But the fit is weird if you are tall and thin. This would look awesome on someone shortwaisted and busty. I'll stick with the Marmot Power stretch full zip instead.

I love this jacket/layering top. It is soft, comfortable, warm, convenient to zip up or leave slightly unzipped at the top to cool down a bit. The color is a bright coral and looks great with jeans and all my outdoor layers.....

I have purchased 8 of these now. I just bought two more for Christmas gifts. Be advised, the small is a perfect fit for me, but I am 5'4" and weigh about 118 lbs. It is a shorter jacket and might not work for every body type. I think the newer jackets (which have the smaller flower isignia) are cut even a bit smaller...at least it feels that way. I wear mine for running, hiking, around town, under my hard shell for warmth for cold weather sports. I have a black, blue, and green one now...I've given my daughter two and she's about to get another. I love giving this jacket as a gift...people love it. I'm especially happy when I can purchase it for a great price!

This jacket was very nice and comfortable, although a little thinner than expected. The color I got, lava, was very bright but pretty.
