    Most hats of this type have a micro fleece liner and my head gets so pickin hot! This one is just a shell with a mesh liner. It's absolutely perfect for the rain and snow conditions we get here in the Northwest. Also, the brim is just the right width, not obstructing ones vision. Outdoor Research does it again!! I would buy this hat again and again!
