Verified Buyer Reviewed by Poodlegal from Cali on Monday, March 21, 2016Well made super cozy hat with a foldable sun bill.....just way too warm my snow activities. If I were ice fishing or watching a football game or being still in winter this hat would be perfect.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tweagle from Eastern Oregon on Thursday, January 7, 2016Love this hat! So cute and warm! Fits great and looks cute on! Why not look great and be warm at the same time? Worked great while on the quads in 15 degree weather. Has a little adjustable chin strap to custom fit. It is comfortable and soft. This is an awesome hat for the price. Shipping is super fast with Sierra also!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by PK from Bronx, NY on Saturday, March 7, 2015This keeps my head totally warm in very cold temperatures. I agree with other reviewers that the hat runs small. I normally wear a size small, but went with a medium in this hat and it fits perfectly. Great product at a great price.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by hikermom from soCalHills on Thursday, March 5, 2015Reading the other reviews on how small/tight this runs AND knowing that I DON'T have a big head, I figured I'd order the large to be on the safe side and simply cinch it tight with the cinching straps it comes with. Well, the Large is SNUG on me, and I don't have a lot of hair or thick hair- it was doable but if it had been tighter I would have sent it back- actually, I would prefer it to be bigger, BUT I was going on a snow hike and didn't have time to send it back. if you are a woman with a lot of hair, or just want to be comfortable, I recommend the XL and you can always make it tighter.
It's true, the placement of the chin strap is placed a bit too inward, so that when you clasp it, it is against your throat, even if you're wearing it loose. I plan on having the straps removed and replaced so that they're further out (facing more of the outside) so that it doesn't rest on my neck which is annoying. It is very soft, the blue color I got is nice, and the ear flaps add to the warmth, however if this is all I was wearing outside, I believe I would've been a bit chilly- I had a buff covering my ears which helped, but the ear flaps helped shield my ears from the freezing wind. I would recommend, just order big.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Wussie dog walker from Indiana on Tuesday, November 11, 2014I love this hat, it keeps out the wind and is also very warm. I take our dogs on a 2 mile walk every morning even in the biting cold winters of Indiana. This hat will be perfect for those early freezing mornings. Sometimes with the wind chill it is 25 degrees below. This winter, I am prepared.
