5.0 out of 5 stars. AweseomeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Linda D from New York on Friday, December 25, 2015This was a gift for my husband. He does not ski, but this will be great for walking the dogs and snow blowing!

4.0 out of 5 stars. ReccomendVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Seattle/Bozeman on Wednesday, December 16, 2015Fit is slim but comfortable, length is good. I thought it would be thicker, with the fleece lining, but its pretty thin...not necessarily a bad thing, just unexpected. Color is awesome.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Bomb proof jacket, but wasn't what I neededVerified Buyer Reviewed by Brian from North Carolina on Friday, December 11, 2015This jacket is bomb proof. Although I did not field test it, it appears very durable and weatherproof. However, that also means heavy (2.4 lbs per the specs). I'm not sure about its breathability, but it does have nice side vents. The vents are not armpit vents ,but start at the side of the chest and go down to above the area where the powder skirt is. As far as sizing goes I felt that the arms were big (a tad long and also wide around the wrists). I am 5'9", 160lbs and got the medium. As it turns out I needed a lighter weight, more packable jacket for an expedition, but thought I would try this one because of the sale. This would probably be great for daily use at the resort or even backcountry if weight and packability are not considerations and if the weather conditions are bad (cold, windy, snowy)--probably too much for bluebird days.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket!!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Matt from Utah on Sunday, December 6, 2015Haven't been out on the mountain yet but jacket is very well constructed and pockets are numerous and well placed. I like that hood can be removed for blue bird days as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice and TightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Montana Michael from Montana on Saturday, September 5, 2015The fit is slightly large so my title has no reference to that (I had read earlier reviews so I ordered a small when I am normally a medium); It is made tight referring to the structure, which is a huge bonus when in the snow for long periods of time. I haven't had much time with the jacket but from an early test it's a good choice, and at the price from Sierra it was an excellent choice.

5.0 out of 5 stars. KeeperVerified Buyer Reviewed by El Presidente from Lake Tahoe on Wednesday, June 17, 2015Be prepared. This one could last the rest of your life. Very durable.
Pockets where you need them. (None of this exterior pocket over an interior one. Drives me nuts.) Hood and waist gator can be left at home on nice days. Well vented.
Bought the yellow with green trim. Very cool!
Sizing hint: as a U.S. 44, I would normally order an XL. Was way to big. Sleeves too long, wrist closures not tight enough to stop sleeves from sliding over fists. Oversized at shoulders. Replaced with a L. All is fine. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Fantastic with one flawReviewed by Jeremie from Montréal on Saturday, February 21, 2015This jacket is fantastic for skying, or any outdoor activity! I have not tried out many other softshells or hardshells, but this one seems better than all others I have seen in stores. However, there is one VERY annoying flaw that I noticed when I got this item from Sierra Trading Post. The zipper is very finicky, and it can take anywhere from thirty seconds to two minutes JUST to zip the main zipper up. This doesn't sound like much, but it is a bit awkward when you are in public and it looks like you don't know how a zipper works. Otherwise highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love it!Reviewed by Anonymous from Salt Lake City, UT on Wednesday, February 18, 2015I bought this shell that was suggested on the site when I was looking at a different shell and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting the great fit and functionality. I am 5' 7" and about 200 pounds and a medium fits me rather well. I assume if I loose a few extra pounds like I have been wanting to, it will be a little baggier. Overall I had intended on purchasing and using a completely different shell but for this price and functionality, this shell cannot be beat.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Jacket ReviewVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Connecticut on Thursday, January 29, 2015Great product. True to size and great looking too. I would recommend this jacket to skiers or anyone who's looking to stay dry and warm. Note: You need a base and mid layer.
