Outdoor Research Vert Pants (For Women)

Very comfortable,fit well, stylish, and quite warm compare to the weight and material. Some people suggest not to wear next to skin, but I found it ok. I even tried to use it as basic layer in a chili day, and it worked fine.

These pants are great for the price. They are thin so should be worn with a base layer. They are great for xc skiing - no bulk and lightweight. I am petite so they are a bit long but they are not too tight - just the right fit.

I got these for my daughter who is learning to cross-country ski. They seem really nice. They fit her well. I might get some for myself.

A previous review stated a con was 'too short'. That actually made me purchase these because I am only 5'1". I think these pants would be perfect for anyone up to 5'4". I will wear them with a pair of light long underwear because they are too light to wear alone in the winter.

These are great for ANY outdoor sport you would need an extra bottom layer. They are roomy enough two wear a thick baselayer. Actually the fabric feels weird against your skin without a baselayer so i don't thik i would wear them without one. The fabric has stretch which is awesome. I mainly use them for cc sking and running. And they are basic enough to run errands in without looking too sloppy. I just wish there was another inch to the 30" inseam.

These are lightweight enough to stash in my hiking pack for when it starts to rain, I can pull them on. Or take them off just as easy. They don't make much noise and keep the rain off of me.

I haven't had the chance to test their waterproof-ness, but the fit is right, and with a thin wool base layer I think they'll be just the thing for snowshoeing/cross country skiing. Even without a layer, they didn't feel clammy.

Good for going to the store as well as outdoor sports. Was hoping they were a bit thicker but useful and comfortable.
