Great pants, just too long By Sandman from San Pedro on 03/13/2010 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tried the pants on and they were very comfortable and good looking. However they were too long (I'm 5'10") for hiking. With the zippered pant cuff, it would be too difficult to shorten them.
I have returned them and was delighted with how easy it was to do so.
Tough and yet comfortable! By Hiker Mike from Henderson, NV on 03/03/2010 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great pants! Sorry that they were only available in one color or I would have bought more. Called the company to find more pants, but they have been discontinued :-(
These pants are freakin' sweet! By Stevie G. from England on 01/14/2010 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight, Water Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Adventures, Travel Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well, the headline pretty much sums it up. The second I took these bad boys out of the box, I was very impressed. The material used is Inertia Plus with Primeflex (according to the tag). I haven't heard of it, but it seems very similar to Scholler Dryskin, only a bit more stretchy. Water just beads up and falls right off like most soft shells. The style is pretty cool too. Most convertible pants that I've used/seen aren't exactly stylish, but you could totally get away with wearing these around town. Also, when you convert them to the shorts, they ARE NOT super short to show off your pasty white thighs. They sit right at the middle of my kneecap if I'm standing up. I haven't had them long, but from what I can tell, they will last a long time. They look so good that I'm thinking about picking up another pair. One last thing, I normally wear a 30" inseam, so I was a little concerned by the stated 33" length, but they don't seem that long. They don't touch the ground if I'm wearing shoes.
