Outlast®

A “phase change” material used in clothing and insulation to absorb, retain and release heat when needed. Originally developed by NASA to protect astronauts, it interacts with the body’s temperature to balance temperature by absorbing, storing and releasing heat generated by the body. When the body’s temperature drops, the substance recycles the stored heat, adding warmth to maintain thermal balance.
