Saved our dogs life

Literally. Her back legs fell off the edge of a cliff, and a nice gentleman grabbed the handle on her daypack and pulled her back up.

Aside from that instance, this pack has its plusses and minuses. Tiga did not like it a first but she got used to it. If you do not load it perfectly evenly between both sides of the pack it will tip to one side. We got better...and she got better as our trip progressed. Straps adjust well and do not loosen during wear. And the straps on this pack are more robust than the other outward hound pack listed on STP...but the bag size is smaller so you can't pack as much. This size was perfect for our five day hike. Tiga carried her own food, bowls, and leash.
