Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I've been looking for a while for something that will carry my laptop, together with some bulky work stuff I need to take when I travel, along with my iPod, Kindle, papers, etc. I've returned several other bags as too clunky-looking or not well-organized, but this one is nice. I wish it had a slightly narrower strap for better comfort, and a bit more padding for my laptop, but overall it is a terrific value and serves well. I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up, but it seems well designed.
