Overland Equipment Auburn Bag

The top of the bag doesn't stay closed when full. It's very convenient for everyday use instead of a purse/handbag.

This is a well-made, very functional bag, and a nice size. The contrasting lining is terrific, and the fabric is a tough nylon pack cloth that has a waterproof coating on the back side. I found the gussetted pocket underneath the front flap to be more "open" than I liked, so I tacked the pleats to take up some of that openness, and now it's great! Good everyday bag. For travel requiring passports or visas I'd want a more secure handbag.

I saw a lady with this bag and stopped her to ask where she got it. I had never heard of Overland Equipment. I fell in love with the size and look of the bag so I had to have my own. It is just the perfect size for everything with tons of organization. The different pockets are so easy to access, even with your hands full. I use it as my everyday purse because let's face it, no one just carries a wallet anymore. I have a celllphone, digital camera, 2 keychains, a makeup bag and sunglasses all in there with my wallet. I can fit my day planner in the back pocket and I still have room inside the huge middle pocket for a diaper and a pack of wipes. This is the perfect bag for the mom with a toddler who has no need for a full diaper bag anymore and wants to start looking fashionable again! Even with all the items it can hold the bag never looks overstuffed. It starts out so lightweight that you can fill it up and it won't break your shoulder. The strap can adjust so that you can wear it cross-body which is a handy option with small children or bag of groceries. I got the Green with the floral lining and then had to have the Black with the Daisy lining too. You will not be disappointed!! I might be the next Overland Equiptment addict. Now I just need one in brown!
