Overland Equipment Donner Bag

This was great as my "vacation purse" for a week - holds all kind of stuff - in fact, it gets darn heavy when I load it up with books, maps, water, camera, glasses, snacks. But easy to carry - nice long strap so it can go cross-body and stay secure. I had no velcro issues and it felt quite secure for me. I got the purple one

I bought this in black and it's my favorite purse. My sunglasses fit in one exterior pocket and my water bottle in the other. There are several pockets that are just perfect for my use so I bought a second one in red. It's heavy when loaded with water but that's the Sigg + water problem.

I have an older version with different webbing on the shoulder strap. This new version with seatbelt type webbing is ver slippery and didn't stay on my shoulder. The bag is great, light, roomy, good for organization and great for travel. The wide shoulder strap makes it very comfortable to carry and the side slip pockets are very useful for any number of things including a small water bottle, keys, cell phone and other misc. Great everyday and travel bag.

Great bag with nice colors, BUT the velcro is weak. When you finally get it open, things can fall out. I have to put all valuable inside the zippered compartment and it's too bad cuz the outside part is a great organizer. One bottle holder on each side which is nice!

I have an earlier version of this bag and loved it for about 3 months. Then outside flap's velcro started to just let go and the bag would open up. I was afraid I was going to lose my things, so stopped using the bag.
