Overland Equipment Donner Bag

I have a hard time finding purses that will stay on my shoulder so I like the long strap on this. I can lengthen it and wear it bandolier-style. The buckle doesn't move on its own while I'm wearing it, so I don't end up with a strap that's longer or shorter than I set it. That said, it's a very slippery strap, so if I try to wear it on one shoulder, it's always falling off. The bottle pouches will fit a wide-mouth Nalgene-style water bottle, so I'm happy I don't have to resort to the skinnier throw-away bottles put out by the soda companies. The velcro flap is fine, nothing has fallen out of the pockets there yet. The velcro itself is fine, no problems opening or closing. The newer models do have a little piece of fabric on the side at the flap to make it more enclosed, though. The back pocket (non-zipped) is a good depth but the few times my purse has slid off the car seat onto the floorboard, everything dumped out of it. A bit of velcro at the top would have helped and if I get annoyed enough, I'll sew one on myself. The zippered compartment is quite deep and can hold a lot more than I have in it. I bought this particularly for when we're out of town and I need to carry snacks, water, sunscreen, etc. I won't go into what I wish they'd done, because for all I know the newer models have those things; I'll just review what I have. I do have a hard time locating small items that, of course, sink to the very bottom but that happens with any purse that's taller than three inches. Overall, I like the bag but do wish the strap weren't so slippery.

A couple of years ago I bought one of these bags to use as a travel bag, but soon began to use it for everyday use. Now I have just bought two more in a different color--one for me and one for my daughter. It's easy to wear this bag with the strap cross-body like a messanger bag for hands-free movement and I like having the two pockets on the outside into which you can slip waterbottles, baby bottles, sunglasses, etc., but the feature I like most is the little zip pocket on the bottom of the drop down flap. I use that to put my change in and it's easy to get at both when paying or when stashing change afterward. No more loose coins in the bottom of the bag! Can't say enough good things about this bag.

Perfect size for travel. it is small enough to be comfortable over the shoulder, but it is big enough to hold essentials as well as a guidebook and a rainjacket. I appreciate the water bottle holders on each size. Outside pockets perfect for maps.

I like how easy it is to reach My cell phone, bus pass, card key, wallet and keys as well as having a space large enough to carry my Kindle.

I carry this bag with everything I need for the day. Sometimes I carry it into work because it has a good strap and my hands are free. It even holds my lunch or a good sized camera. The only thing I don't care for is that when it isn't full it is limp and crumbles over when I set it down. I had another one that is even more limp after I washed it. I still like it and will probably get another when this one gets too floppy.

I just got back from a Disney vacation with my family and this little bag was perfect on our trip! It held a camera, sunscreen, my cell phone, and other little items we needed with room to spare! I really like the pockets on the front of the bag. It's very cute and I can see myself using this for many different purposes. It's made of sturdy material and I can't say enough good things about this bag.

A well-made and cute bag, nice colors, and strong construction. My only complaint is that the main compartment is deep with a relatively narrow opening, so if you put lots of smaller items in this bag, you will end up doing a lot of 'blind rummaging' when trying to retrieve them!

The perfect bag for a trip to the library or a trip to Egypt. Plenty of room. Lightweight. Unique color.

I used this bag as a combined diaper bag and purse for a airplane trip and it worked great. Fit all the essentials in an easy-to-carry sling-over-the-shoulder bag. Plus, it didn't LOOK like a diaper bag! Amazing capacity for such a small bag, yet easy to get stuff at the bottom. Highly recommend!

I will use this as an everyday bag. I love the fact that there are two outside bottle holders. My only complaint is that there are no built in slots for credit cards and ids. Great product.
