“Practical jacket”

“This jacket is very well made. It is not a good looking jacket but it is practical, functional, comfortable and warm. It looks like a great jacket to go for walks, maybe do some yard work, go food shopping, running errands, wear in the rain, etc. It is a very comfortable jacket to move in. I read the reviews and some people objected to the lining. I actually like the lining because it is what gives the jacket warmth, other than the waxed cotton. Perhaps the plaid flannel part of the lining isn't super great looking but it is definitely not cheap. Cheap flannel pills and makes a mess but this one does not. The lining of the sleeves is quilted nylon which is quite nicely made. I was initially concerned about the color, I could only get it in plum and I am not usually fond of purple but this plum color is quite nice, a lot darker than the way it appears on the website, definitely a very nice and versatile color. I may return the jacket due to being too big for me. It is particularly big over the shoulders and upper back which kind of balloons out due to excess fabric. A smaller size is not available for me.”
