Oxford Blue Dorset Vest - Waxed Cotton (For Women)

I bought this for my daily hikes with my dogs. Had to return it because it was just huge all over. This is the opposite of how British clothing usually fits -- normally too small. But the fabric is great and it seems extremely well made. I would have liked to have kept it. Would recommend but be aware of sizing.

Many comments say this vest is too large. I am size 14-16 and the large fits me perfect with or without layering. Nice pockets, warm. Just what I was looking for!

Love, love, love this vest. I was really impressed with the overall quality, style and classy design of the vest. I particularly liked the high hand pockets along with the regular front pockets, that was a welcome surprise. The vest is very warm and is great for here in Denver where the winters are usually fairly mild and a full heavy coat is not always necessary.

Sadly I had to return the vest (at my expense) for it was just way too large. There were no reviews at the time I ordered it. Now you can see that others found it mis-sized also. Great vest and I would reorder in a smaller size if it was available

The large feels more like an XL, but the quality is high and for knocking around the farm in wet cold weather this vest is ideal.

A very nicely tailored vest, longer than the down variations I have, very useful front pockets. I have several down versions that are warm and sporty or even dressy but I got this vest for camping, gardening and generally working outdoors and it's perfect. The fabric is tough but the tailoring keeps it from looking masculine or sloppy. IT DOES RUN LARGE so I followed the other reviewers and bought a smaller size. It leaves plenty of room for a big sweater underneath but does not bag or look oversized without.

Great product but you should have shown it as a men's vest, not women's. I ordered a medium and in the US that's about a size 10-12. This vest was even big on a woman I GAVE it to who is size 16. She loves it but has to wear a sweatshirt under it cuz so large. Fix your European sizing calculations and find one of these for myself that will fit me. I got nothing but a friend's thank-you for it.

This is a beautiful vest, the colors are lovely, the construction is very good; however it is at least 2-3 sizes larger than the size on the tag. A small would likely fit a regular M-L

This is my second vest...I previously ordered the blue which is also a nice shade. The plum color is also great, it's a deep rich color. On me it runs slightly large but that's OK for wearing a sweater underneath. I completely love the bellows pockets and the double collar. I'm still not sure if it's washable...the tag only says to wipe it down. The fabric finish does feel like wax.
