It is very useful in the cold weather, yet too bulky to carry if the temperature arises abruptly.

A real drover's jacket - warm, practical and ready for unpredictable weather...but I wouldn't wear it for a day out in the city. I am 5ft4in tall and on the smaller end of a Size 12, and feel that the Medium is too big for me, but I don't mind this too much. My only complaint is that the fleece lining is bulky and not well-fitted to the jacket, and it shows when the jacket is open, making it unattractive. This is a heavy jacket, and the feel of the waxed fabric takes some getting used to. But, overall, and for the great price, this is a good basic jacket and I will probably have it for a long time.

I had to send the jacket back because of the tight fit in the hip area. The rest of the jacket seemed true to size. I would have loved to wear this jacket. It was so good looking and sturdy. Great fabric color and style. I would recommend this jacket to a friend after warning that the hip area isn't true to size.

Expect to be comfortable and warm but a standout only to those who know timeless styling. Not as expensive as some other British lines but just as sturdy. Quality materials and construction. A travel preference since it doesn't advertise manufacturer or cost or my possible country of origin. Another nice treat is the lining doesn't create static electricity.

This is a very nice jacket. However, It seems to be cut and sized for short, fat people. That is great if you are short and fat but I wish I had known that before purchasing. The medium is quite roomy for me and I am 5"10" 160 lbs. I don't mind so much because it leaves plenty of room for heavy sweaters but the sleeves are noticeably short. This jacket is attractive, well designed regarding features, and the price was right so I will keep it but if I had tried it on in a store I wouldn't have bought it.

This is one terrific coat. Best one I ever bought.

Great buy for the $ - wish that I lived in a climate that warranted a such heavy jacket like this for the winter months. If the lining was removeable, I would have bought another!!!!

This is a super coat for Oregon's rainy winter days. I will take it to the coast next time I go too. Warm and cozy, and repels the water.
