    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas. He rides sport bikes casually. I read the reviews and thought these boots would work. When he tried them, he found that they are good for off-road only. They are too stiff and restrict shifting on a sport bike. They seem like a well built boot for off-road however; they are not for street riding. I just want to prevent others from making the same mistake.

    Haven't used the boots yet since it's now snowmobile season here, but my initial opinion is that they run small. I wear a 9 shoe and the 10.5 boots fit me well out of the box with an average sock. Otherwise, they sure look to be built well and rock solid!

    My boots are used for mainly motocross and arenacross, the oxtars are a overall pretty good boot just not when your use to the comfort and protection of a tech 10. They begin to hurt your feet and kinda cut off the circulation. Not very comfortable to ride in at all, but strong and light.
