These Boots are the Best!! By Ridge Wanderer from Ocala, FL on 07/13/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these boots. I bought them in Wyoming when the weather turned cold and snowy in June. They kept the wet out and the warmth in without any extra waterproofing efforts. After the first day of wear, these boots felt like an old friend; no foot fatigue or soreness at all. The side zipper is quite handy, and the laces allow you to custom fit them to your lower leg. These look great with jeans.
By A from New York City on 02/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a pair of "Defrosters" a Canadian boot for well over 20 years. I never thought I'd find a boot as able to take the snow and slush of New York City as well. This boot, also Canadian made, seems to be doing the job, although I have yet to wade through a deep slush puddle in them, but have done well in very cold weather and snow.
By citymom from New York City on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn these boots to work on rainy or snowy days - I have to walk several city blocks at both ends of my commute. The boots are attractive enough to look dressed professionally, so I can wear them all day and don't have to carry shoes. And tested in a truly messy and slushy winter storm, they were completely waterproof, which was really nice!
