Waterproof leather uppers are fortified with AquaProtect® and sealed seams, the combination of which prevents water from getting in and also protects the uppers from salt damage.

Not what I was hoping for By Keeping up with the Dogs (trying to) from Bloomington, IN on 08/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a simple yet stylish boot that could be worn on those winter days when I have to get a bit dressed up for work. The lacing up the back and the rounded toe just didn't work with my wardrobe. I was most disappointed because these boots were remarkably comfortable and seemed exceptionally well made.

My main reason for returning them was because the they did not fit my calf. I wear a size 11 and my feet and long and narrow. I am alos tall and thin and so my claves are smaller.
