It is also well insulated, with the option of side ventilation if it gets too warm. The only downside to this jacket is its complete lack of pockets. I am a pocket person so whenever I need to stash my keys or something somewhere quickly, I get a little frustrated with this jacket. Aside from that, it's a great windbreak/rainjacket, and a great value for the cost.
