Worked Well on first night ride - By Tom from Canton, CT on 11/14/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile Cons: Crank plastic - be gentl Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used for the first time - worked well on a night ride, temp 35 degrees. Went almost an hour and the only reason I cranked it was we had stopeed - charge seems to hold well
By beepadeebeep from Vermont on 11/10/2008 Pros: Easy to Use, Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cracking it for a few seconds is enough for my 10 - 15 minute ride home at night. Love that it doesn't use batteries. Only downside is how the light connects to the carrier. It must be removed to crank and it's a little difficult to slide off. The plastic seems somewhat delecate, but it hasn't broken yet.
Does what it is supposed to By wrx from boston, ma on 11/08/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these lights for commuting to and from work in all weather conditions. I got tired of having to replace batteries and batteries leaking and bursting inside other lights. These take care of that problem and for the past few months of use, I have had no issues with them. They are bright enough and stay lit for a long time. The only complaint is that they are a bit difficult to remove every time I park the bike. I am afraid that with repeated usage I will break the mounting bracket. However, they have not fallen of the bike yet, despite all the potholes in Boston.
