By MI bike and hike from Ann Arbor, MI on 10/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have used these as a dependable backpacking boot. The toe box on this model is a bit roomier than that of other Asolo models like the FSN and Flame models. The soles are sturdy and stiff enough to protect your feet from unexpected rocks and roots on the trail, but are flexible enough to be comfortable for everyday use. Overall, a great pair of boots.
