Great Boot for People with High Arches By Chauga Wanderer from Madison, SC on 07/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On/Off, Lightweight, Secure Fit Best Uses: Hiking Backpacking Describe Yourself: Avid hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boot for people with high arches and narrow heels. Placement of gromet securing the heel allows wearer to lace boot tight enough to provide platform stability and to eliminate excess heel movement without needing to lace the boot tightly over the arch or ankle areas. Foot will not slide forward even on prolonged steep descents. Virtually no break-in required.
