By Big RV from Twin Cities, MN on 07/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes for Disc Golf and they did not disappoint. They are lightweight, comfortable, stable, and best of all provide excellent traction for shots from uneven ground. I got the orange color and, while it may not be for everyone, I love the styling.
By JT from Los Alamos, NM on 07/08/2008 Pros: Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Cons: Sole Wears Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have gone through many pair of Montrail trail running shoes and have always been satisfied with the quality and fit. The Nitrus had a lot of extra material inside the base of the tongue that caused a blister on my foot. The Griptonite sole started to come off after one run. I think Montrail's quality may be compromised - too bad because they used to be about the best shoe in the market.
