Then nothing happened. The weight attached to the "clapper" piece, besides being really ugly, was so heavy it would take a hurricane to move it. So I tied on a lighter one, then one lighter still. Still no sound. I guess the bamboo pieces are placed too far from it. Ill conceived and ill executed. Now we'll see how long it takes to disintegrate.
