By yupyup from ny on 09/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Excess strap control, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight, Pockets extra compartmen, Removable waist Best Uses: Extended Hikes, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: love this. traveled/lived for 2 months out of this bag. it's relatively small for a bag - makes you pack only the essentials. the shoulder straps are a little unusual - they have more shape than the average backpack since they're more than just the foamy stuff. some may say that they dig into the shoulders. i didn't mind so much. pack fit my back perfectly. i'm 5'4", 150lbs.

I have this pack, and I've entirely given up carrying the rope, because even if I roll it narrow enough to get it in and out, then there is wasted space in the bottom of the pack.
