A great jacket for skiing By Havin' a blast from Davis, CA on 03/11/2009 Pros: Durable, Lots of pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great, super warm, super waterproof, super practical jacket. The collar is a little stiff, but that's actually sort of nice for skiing and I think it might break down a bit with wear. It's a great length (not too short like some modern styles) and extremely practical. It's so warm that skiing in tahoe, I have on only a single thin long underwear layer and a very thin fleece long underwear, and I was a perfect temperature on the lifts (and a little warm at the bottom!)
