Lots of compliments at the climbing gym! By Robin from North Texas on 11/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Climbing, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is indeed a trim fit. I usually wear a 6 in tops, and I ordered the small. It's great with a tank or t-shirt underneath, but no more than that. I'm tall, and I do wish this jacket were a little longer in the torso. If you are at all busty, you will need to size up, as well. Still, it has great freedom of movement, the color is lovely, and the Mammut brand is cool :-). The first time I wore it to the climbing gym, two of the young staffers said, "Ooooh, nice, Mammut!" :-)
By Imaginary Friend from Enumclaw, WA on 11/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Cons: Inadequate Protection Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was expecting this jacket to be at least mid-weight, with obvious wind protection. I had to reread the description to see if I was totally crazy, thinking it was supposed to be windproof. Exactly how windproof is a fleece that is perforated and you can see through it when you hold it up to the light? Not sure how that works. So, it was extremely lightweight and a bit too form fitting for me. Also, the hem is that rounded elastic band that is way too tight on my hips, so its like a sweatshirt, all bunched up over the top of the hem. Not good. In short, I'm not sure why this brand is soo high priced, i don't see any special features, or even what is promised, for the price. Maybe it would be good for running or something?
