Soft leather. My shoe size is a 6 l/2 narrow and am able to wear thin socks with a little room to spare. These boots are stunning. I was so impressed with the quality and uniqueness, I ordered two other styles by ULU. If you order these wonderful boots, you will not be disappointed.

Definitely the best purchase I've made! I've received a lot of compliments about these boots. I could use a bit more traction on icy sidewalks, but I'll attribute that to my clumsiness.
