Not a great choice if you're going to sit all day 20 feet up in the wind, but about ideal for hunting where the animals go to hole up.
Big, roomy cut for layering (I can fit a down jacket and a down vest underneath when things get brutal). Double-layer construction creates huge pockets everywhere you look, and the sleeves are perfect for use with a gauntlet type of glove because you can overlap the cuffs to get great wrist coverage.
Windproof? Nope. Waterproof? No, but it'll keep you warm anyway. If you're into Gore-Tex and carbon scent-suits and all that, you won't be happy. But if you're more trad-minded, if you know what's good about wool, and what makes it worth its weight & bulk, you'll love it. As will your kids. And their kids, too, most likely...
