Great comfort and warmth in my Vasque hiking boots. I use an arch support beacuse the inserts are made primarily for warmth and wicking. Keep extra pair available as one does not want too much moisture inside a winter boot. I ordered the size 15 for my son – the geologist.

They wool is very thin over the same foam you might find in tennis shoes. It was not as thick as expexted, but works better tha I thoght it would after looking at it. It made my boots warmer. Haven't had them long enough to test durability.
