I found the sizing to be true, the medium size fit me (I'm a 39 jacket) while the large was too long in the sleeve and loose in the body. If you plan to wear bulky layers under in very cold temps, maybe size up, this is medium weight jacket, not a below zero coat.

This is a Great Coat, Great Color, Great Comfort, Great Convenience - adequate number of convenient pockets, Great Look, Great for Warmth, and most importantly to me, I didn't have to return it - it Fits Great ! Have I said I like it ?
