Note that it has a wide frame, so will be a bit oversized for people with small faces.

Like other reviewers commented, they don't get very dark, so I wouldn't say they have enough tint for the beach, but are great for driving, playing golf, or any outdoor activity if the sun isn't glaring in your face.
I have a very small face, though, and these are too big. I like the polarization enough that I wear them anyway, but they tend to slide down on my nose. I'm still looking for the perfect pair of glasses, but these are my compromise for now.
