Almost felt like a thin flannel-like material. I was expecting something more substantial. Apart from that, I didn't particularly like the way it fit. One last annoying aspect of this shirt...there is a seam that runs straight down the middle of the back of the shirt. Not sure what the designers had in mind here, but I thought it just made the shirt look cheap.
