Not too heavy or hot,just right,soft cotton knit.I put it on as soon as I jump out of bed and feel comfy and covered while I sip my coffee.

I personally don't like tie robes -- knots are either too bulky or are constantly coming undone. The zipper makes for easy on/off and is a quick coverup for answering an early morning doorbell or making coffee with guests in the house.
The pockets are nice but the stretch in the fabric makes for a bulge at the hips, interferring with the drape. For comfort this robe is almost perfect -- for style....well, not so much.

It goes down to her ankles, she is about 5'1" tall.
Good fabric weight for Spring and Fall.
