By Bootboiler from Santa Cruz on 10/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Tough Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read that some had issue with the belt slipping. Had they bought the right size pants, I doubt they would have had this issue because the waist is elastic. Regardless, I bought a few pair, and one had a different belt with more friction than the others. I am sure the new belt will hold a large pair of pants on a small body. I don't find them to be particularly good for climbing, maybe for some boldering around the camp site. I prefer lightweight, stretchy, nylon pants on the rock.
By Cap'n Chucky from Cape Cod on 10/27/2009 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my 4th and 5th pair of Gramiccis, so I pretty much knew what to expect. They fit well, they look good, they have two pockets in back (took Gramicci forever to figure that out). If they could find a way to add a fly, they'd be perfect.
Glad to see the originals are back!! By Hayden from Foothills of the Smokies on 10/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Fabric is bombproof, Great for Climbing, Great freedom of movement, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Tailored enough for town Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Finely made enough for causal wear yet show their true value after 12 hours in a climbing harness; no chafing -- they feel almost seamless. I have Gramicci's that are 20 years old.
