Comprehensive, useful book By qajaqguru from Athens, GA on 11/10/2008 Pros: Good information, Great photography, Readable Best Uses: Advanced Paddlers, Expeditioners, Rock garden players Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am frequently asked for reading recommendations, and this book just went to the top of my list. Very comprehensive, very accessible, in most cases Matthews says exactly what I want my students to hear.
