Excellent product ! Tough and warm. By NOMIS from Washington DC on 02/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Pros:
Very rugged and warm: even when rolling downhill for hundreds of feets ;-) You won't feel wind even when stuck on the lift during 25 mph wind.
Recommendations: Couple of more iPOd/iPhone/mp3 external pockets somewhere on the sleeves would be nice. Hood is not as hugging - but, hey, who cares when you have fancy ski hat.
For the price it sells - you get more than you pay by a lot.
Solidly built and durable By Hurican from Mount Airy, MD on 02/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Snow sports Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this Jacket as a replacement for a columbia jacket that was too small, and didn't have a replacement in my size.
This is definitely more a technical jacket. It doesn't initially feel as warm as a down jacket, but once it warms up, it keeps the heat better. It is a little bulky to wear, stiff and crinkly, but that's also what makes it durable. It was a great price as well. Lotsa pockets!
By Frank in Fremont from Fremont, CA on 01/16/2009 Pros: Great looking, Lots of storage, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am always wary of buying clothing items online. This jacket had all the features I was looking for but quality is always a concern. I am very happy with this jacket: hooded, lota of storage, stylish, and warm. I bought the green. It is not semi-neon like it shows on screen. It is more moss green
